Usher in the Year of the Snake with a Big Bang at AMK Hub! AMK Hub welcomes the auspicious Year of the Snake with a series of exhilarating performances, a Chinese New Year Goodie Fair, as well as fabulous giveaways, from 11th January – 24th February 2013.
In addition, 12 larger than life zodiac animals will make an appearance at the main entrance to welcome shoppers and get them into the festive spirit. Shoppers will also have the opportunity to check their zodiac forecast for the year, at the main entrance.
Dance of the Lions & Dragons (19th January – 3rd February)
Everyone’s perennial favourite, the highly vivacious lion and dragon dance performances, will take place at the mall’s Main Entrance from 19th January to 3rd February (Saturdays and Sundays only, 6pm and 8pm), to usher in luck for one and all at AMK Hub.
Shoppers will be enthralled by the lights from the LED Dragon and LED Lions and can get into the groove with the energetic movements of the Acrobatic Dragon. On 15th February 2013 at 11am, shoppers will also be able to watch an award-winning lion dance troupe, who will perform gravity defying stunts at the Main Entrance.
Prosperity Roams (19th January – 24th February)
Shoppers can get into the festive cheer with the affable Fu Lu Shou Mascots and Celestial Fairy Stilt Walkers as they make their way around AMK Hub playing festive music, or be blessed with sweet treats from everyone’s favourite God of Fortune!

Artistic Showcase (19th January – 3rd February, 16th – 24th February)
Shoppers can also expect other exhilarating performances happening at B1 Exhibition Hall, including acrobatic and dance performances as well as contortionist acts. They can look forward to being mesmerized by the traditional Chinese umbrella changing magic show, and an authentic rendition of the handkerchief acrobat dance.
They can also catch the talented French Juggler, Mickael Bellemene, as he performs breathtaking Crystal Ball juggling acts that promise to astound both the young and old.
Festive Treats (11th January – 9th February)
Bring on good fortune with AMK Hub giveaways to kick off a year of abundance! From 11th January to 9th February, shoppers simply need to spend $60* ($120* at FairPrice Xtra) to redeem two packs of beautifully designed Red Packets. Plus! Members need to spend only $50* ($100* at FairPrice Xtra).
