Singapore bus and train operators, SBS Transit & SMRT, will be extending the operating hours of train and selected bus services on Chinese New Year’s eve, Friday, 27 January 2017.

Adult card fares will be lowered by 1 to 4 cents, depending on the travel distance. Students and senior citizen concessionary card fares will be reduced by 1 to 2 cents.

Cash fares for adult bus and train rides will also increase by 10 cents

The Public Transport Council (PTC) has decided to grant an overall fare adjustment of 3.2% for the 2013 Fare Review Exercise

LTA will embark on a one-year trial from 24 June 2013 to provide FREE travel on the rail network for commuters who end their journey before 7.45am on weekdays at 16 designated MRT stations in the city area.

Starting from 6 Aug 2012, enjoy a discount of up to 50 cents on fares when you exit from 14 city area selected stations before 7.45am on weekdays, except public holidays.
