This is mainly due to the lower cost of natural gas for electricity generation compared to the previous quarter.

For the period from 1 July to 30 September 2018, electricity tariffs will increase by an average of 6.9% or 1.50 cents per kWh compared to the previous quarter.

For the period from 1 April to 30 June 2018, electricity tariffs will increase by an average of 2.8% or 0.59 cent per kWh compared to the previous quarter.

For the period from 1 January to 31 March 2018, electricity tariffs will increase by an average of 6.3% or 1.26 cents per kWh compared to the previous quarter.

For the period from 1 October to 31 December 2017, electricity tariffs will decrease by an average of 2.1% or 0.42 cent per kWh compared to the previous quarter.

For the period from 1 April to 30 June 2017, electricity tariffs will increase by an average of 6.1% or 1.20 cents per kWh compared to the previous quarter.

For the period from 1 Jan to 31 Mar 2017, electricity tariffs will increase by an average of 5.7% or 1.07 cents per kWh compared to the previous quarter.

For the period from 1 Oct to 31 Dec 2016, electricity tariffs will decrease by an average of 0.7% or 0.14 cent per kWh compared to the previous quarter.

For the period from 1 Jul to 30 Sep 2016, electricity tariffs will increase by an average of 9.2% or 1.59 cents per kWh compared to the previous quarter

For the period from 1 Apr to 30 Jun 2016, electricity tariffs will decrease by an average of 9.6% or 1.83 cents per kWh compared to the previous quarter
