M1 customers can now use their existing M1 data bundles in even more overseas destinations.

First launched in July, the unique M1 Data Passport value-added service is now available in an additional five destinations: Bangladesh, Cambodia, Hong Kong, Macau and Taiwan.

The new destinations, together with the six Data Passport launch countries of Indonesia, Japan, Malaysia, Saudi Arabia, Sri Lanka and the United States, will enable postpaid customers to use their data bundles in 11 overseas destinations at a monthly subscription of S$10 per country.

“Customers have told us how they appreciate our M1 Data Passport’s ability to enable them to enjoy the full mobile experience, the way they do at home. We hear them, and since the launch of the M1 Data Passport last month we have continued to further extend this service. Today, I am pleased to announce that the M1 Data Passport is now available in Bangladesh, Cambodia, Hong Kong, Macau and Taiwan, bringing peace of mind to M1 customers travelling to these five popular additional destinations,” said Mr P. Subramaniam, Chief Marketing Officer, M1.
