M1 has just announced that all customers will be able to enjoy free local voice calls, SMS/MMS messages and mobile data this National Day.

All M1 Prepaid Mobile, Postpaid Mobile, and Mobile Broadband customers will enjoy free local calls, SMS/MMS, and mobile data from 00:00 hours on 9 August 2016 to 23:59 hours on 9 August 2016.
Your local incoming calls and local outgoing calls to standard local fixed and mobile lines are free from 00:00 hours on 9 August 2016 to 23:59 hours on 9 August 2016. The free calls are applicable to both voice and video calls. The free local calls / messages / mobile data offered from 00:00 hours on 9 August 2016 to 23:59 hours on 9 August 2016 will not be deducted from your mobile plan bundle.
Outgoing SMS / MMS sent from a mobile phone to local mobile lines are free from 00:00 hours on 9 August 2016 to 23:59 hours on 9 August 2016.
Calls must start and end anytime, within this time period. (For e.g. If a customer makes a call at 23:00 hours on 8 August 2016 and ends the call at 01:00 hours on 9 August 2016, applicable charges will still apply at prevailing rate).
Roaming data usage is charged at respective prevailing rates. For more info, click here.
