SingTel announced that the highly anticipated 3G/WiFi version of the PlayStation®Vita (PS Vita) handheld games console will be available from SingTel from 14 April.
With wireless connectivity via SingTel’s award-winning 3G mobile network, PS Vita users will enjoy high-speed access to rich and immersive games on the move like never before. They can also pit their skills against other users and communicate through social networks such as Facebook and Twitter. In addition, users will be to share photos and movies seamlessly with their friends.

UPDATE 13 Apr 2012: Launch Event @ Bugis Junction
Sony is cooperating with SingTel to hold a PlayStation®Vita 3G/Wi-Fi model official launch event at Bugis Junction on April 14th & 15th to showcase the 3G/Wi-Fi version of the new portable entertainment system PlayStation®Vita (PS Vita) and PS Vita software titles to provide more opportunities for public to have experience of PS Vita on SingTel 3G network.
Date: 14th – 15th April 2012
Time: 11am – 9pm
Venue: Bugis Junction, Level 1, Square M (facing fountain)
PS Vita 3G/Wi-Fi model is confirmed to be released in Singapore on 14 April, 2012 at a Suggested Retail Price of SGD469 will be available at designated *PlayStation Partner Shops (included Sony Store, HMV and Game Shops), SingTel shops and SingTel’s authorized dealers.
As the limited campaign for launch, PS Vita 3G/Wi-Fi model comes with a special voucher code to download WipEout ™ 2048 & Touch My Katamari™.

The PS Vita 3G/WiFi model is available with a range of price plans that offer theoretical download speeds of 7.2Mbps and free bundled local data usage.
