Terms & Conditions

1. Agoda “20% off accommodations worldwide” promotion (“Promotion”) is valid for online bookings made from 31 July 2023, 12:00am to 31 July 2023, 11:59pm (“Booking period”), for stays between 31 July 2023 to 31 March 2024, both dates inclusive (“Stay period”).
2. The Promotion discount is capped at S$60 per transaction.
3. Redemption of 20% discount is limited, and based on first-come-first-serve basis. Discount will not be applied during checkout once redemption cap is met.
4. The Promotion is applicable for participating hotels tagged with the “Coupon applicable” banner (prepaid room types only, not applicable for pay at the hotel room types) made through a dedicated landing page at the following website: www.agoda.com/amextravel. Bookings made on Agoda App are not eligible for the Promotion.
5. The Promotion is applicable to hotel room charges only (excluding local taxes, service fees, and additional charges).
6. American Express Card Members are required to settle payments in full with an Eligible American Express^® Card (“Card Members”) during the booking period to enjoy the Promotion.
7. “Eligible American Express Cards” are qualifying personal basic and/or supplementary American Express Cards issued by American Express International Inc. in Singapore only, excluding American Express Corporate Cards, and American Express Cards issued by DBS Bank Limited and United Overseas Bank Limited.
8. The Promotion cannot be exchanged for cash, vouchers or other products and services.
9. The Promotion is non-transferable and non-cumulative and cannot be used in conjunction with any other discount, rewards, loyalty programmes, promotions, discounted items, and fixed price items (unless specified).
10. Card Members may be asked to present the American Express Card used to make the online purchase for verification purposes during check-in.
11. Savings applied may be nulled if there are any reservation changes made after purchase confirmation, or after promotion period. Card Member may be required to pay for the reservation difference, cancellation or change penalties, administrative fees or other miscellaneous charges (where applicable).
12. American Express reserves the right to suspend or cancel the promotion if any fraud or gaming by users, technical failure or any other factors outside American Express control impairs the integrity or proper functioning of the promotion which may result in any loss or damage to American Express. American Express will try to give you reasonable notice of any such incident and take reasonable steps to ensure you are not unfairly impacted if the incident is due to something American Express has done or failed to do. American Express reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to disqualify any individual suspected of fraud, gaming the promotion or any breach of the Promotion Terms.
13. American Express acts solely as payment provider and is not responsible or liable in the event that such services, activities or benefits are not provided or fulfilled by the merchant. Bookings are subject to Agoda’s terms and conditions. Card Members acknowledge that any disputes in relation to the above are to be directed solely to Agoda, who is providing such services, activities or benefits.
14. American Express and Agoda reserve the right to change the Promotion, or Terms and Conditions at any point of time without prior notice. Should there be any dispute, the decision of American Express and Agoda shall be final.
